With our FSC®-certification, we make a significant contribution to the responsible management of our world's natural resources.

BÜMAG makes a further contribution through the use of recycled plastics. Here, plastics from the waste recycling system are used. This saves important resources and reuses plastic waste.

Climate Protection at BÜMAG eG

Sustainability is an integral part of our business operations. That is why we regularly track our greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with the internationally recognized Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol to establish a transparent foundation for effective climate protection measures.
Our long-term goal is clearly defined: by 2050, we aim to reduce our CO₂ emissions by 90% compared to our baseline year. By regularly preparing a carbon footprint report, we measure our progress, identify opportunities for reduction, and develop concrete measures to cut emissions.
We are already relying on our own solar power generation, energy-efficient technologies, and continuous process optimisation. In the future, we will continue to invest strategically in sustainable solutions to actively contribute to climate protection.
