CODE OF CONDUCT

With our Code of Conduct, we commit ourselves to ethically, legally, and economically sound conduct. The fundamental principles described here are based on our corporate values. They form the foundation of our decision making and our actions, both within and outside our company. They are binding for all employees. We are all responsible for ensuring compliance with our Code of Conduct. This Code serves as a guide for our decisions, raises awareness of legal risks, and promotes our responsible conduct. Therefore, all employees in our company should be familiar with, understand, and act in accordance with our Code of Conduct.

In addition, we expect our suppliers, partners, and all persons working on behalf of our company to act according to similar guidelines.

The following principles of conduct apply at BÜMAG eG:

We respect human rights and comply with national laws, tax/customs regulations, and data protection guidelines.

We stand for fair competition and reject any form of unfair competition or corruption.

We do not tolerate child labour, forced labour, or compulsory labour. Employment relationships are voluntary, based on mutual agreement and written contracts. We do not employ anyone under the age of 18 in heavy or hazardous work, with the exception of training purposes in accordance with recognised national laws and regulations.

We ensure health and safety in the workplace, compliance with working hours, and fair wages.

We support and promote diversity and equal opportunities, and exclude any form of discrimination with respect to employment and in the workplace. Within our company, no person will be discredited or discriminated against on the basis of gender, skin colour, religion or belief, political opinion, sexual orientation, national origin, social origin, ethnic origin, marital status, age, disability, or any other circumstances that could give rise to discrimination. We oppose any form of behaviour that endangers physical or mental integrity, and we acknowledge freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining.

In order to respect our responsibility towards the environment, we commit to the responsible use of necessary resources.
